Last minute details:
MassBike absolutely positively REQUIRES HELMETS be worn on the ride. But please bring your more elegant headwear as there will be time to wear it during breaks and games, and no one wants a helmet head then anyway.
Refreshments: As we will be going at a leisurely pace, there will be time to stop at any of the cafes en route. We plan to stop as a group on Newbury Street and recommend the Other Side Cafe for light refreshments.
407 Newbury Street.
Also, please note the site of the original Massachusetts Bicycle Club at 152 Newbury Street.
Please print the map to bring with you!
About weather: In light rain, we will carry on, because that is what the English do. In case of downpours, some hardy souls will also carry on. But if you are worried about your woollens shrinking, you may want to wait it out and play some billiards at the post-ride pub, Flattop Johnny's. They open at 3pm.
